We've upadted the Hangar with new aircraft profiles!

If you want other aircraft added, please create an FSU file for the aircraft using the instructions in the manual and either send the file to the forum or just email it to info@FSFlyingSchool.com and we'll take it from there.

(Save time by making sure the aircraft is not already on the list in the Hangar!)

If you have trouble creating an aircraft profile - let us know - we may be able to do it for you... especially if you can get us the details!

Thanks for the dedicated work of all those who have submitted aircraft FSU files!

Dave:

Welcome!

FSU and FSR files are files which describe the information which FSFlyingSchool needs in order to be able to fly with an aircraft.

Without them, FSFlyingSchool does not have enough data on the aircraft and it cannot be used.

We publish FSR files, which allow the user to fly that plane and also to post high scores in that plane to the web.

Users create FSU files, which allow the user to fly that plane, but cannot be used to post high scores in that plane to the web.

We ask that users send us FSR files they have created and if they are a realistic set of data for the aircraft in question, we publish them as FSR files.

All the currently available FSR files are included in the latest version of the software and will be automatically installed with FSFlyingSchool.

The files are also available separately in The Hangar - a section on this forum.

FSR or FSU files, if you ever download them, need to be placed into the Aicraft folder of your FSFlyingSchool installation.

FSU files are created when a user selects a new plane which FSFS does not recognise, the user disconnects from FSFS and then creates his/her own user data for the plane at the Aircraft Page of FSFS - see manual for full details.

Hope this helps!

"FSU and FSR files are files which describe the information which FSFlyingSchool needs in order to be able to fly with an aircraft. "

Please see my previous posted reply to you (yesterday) for more details.

Happy landings!

Dave:

The folder is:

C:\Program Files\FSFlyingSchool\Aircraft

If you installed FSFlyingSchool elsewhere, this will of course be different.

This is all described in detail in the manual. Makes excellent bedtime reading!
