Hi,

My first post.. I haven't even downloaded the demo yet as my new system isn't running yet. Maybe I should do that and then RTFM

Questions..
I plan to run both FS9 and FSX.. is that OK? Do I need two different versions of FSUIPC?

In watching the demos I can see that the "instructor" does many cool things to monitor the flight performance, but does FSFS provide a structured "school" or is it just critiquing the flights?

thanks
Don

Don:

Hello again - I replied to your other post on the same general subject and you'll see on there that you can run 2 versions of FS no problem.

>> In watching the demos I can see that the "instructor" does many cool things to monitor the flight performance, but does FSFS provide a structured "school" or is it just critiquing the flights?

Reviewers and users of both our demo and full product agree that FSFlyingSchool will go a long way to getting your flying habits the best they can be. Having said this, FSFlyingSchool does not teach the student how to fly from scratch and it is not based on a series of formal lessons.

This sort of thing is very difficult to do unless it is based on specific aircraft flying at specific locations.

This already exists, in Flight Simulator, in the set of lessons prepared with style and humour by internationally famous instructor Rod Machado.

As an alternative, we want to give the pilot, student or otherwise, the chance to fly anywhere at all, but under the watchful eye of an instructor, who won't be reluctant to let you know when you're not performing well.

Now - if you want to fly your aircraft like an off-road 4 x 4 with wings and pull all sorts of wild an whacky manoeuvres - FSFlyingSchool may not be for you...

If on the other hand, you want to polish your skills and get an answer to that question "Just how good am I...?" then we may be of some assistance.

But wait - there's so much more!

Our failures system is very popular and will keep you on your toes with all kinds of trouble up there from switches that don't work, to gauges that do sometimes, leaking fuel, flaps broken by you and gear that may or may not come down...

Our Career Analyzer provides a series of graphs which show how your performance has been over your career in over seventy different areas of airmanship.

You can compete with the world by submitting your best results to our web score tables - have you got what it takes?

And finally, you can train by flying circuits at your favourite airports. This is a very exacting exercise in FSFlyingSchool - you've got to get all the elements of airmanship just right to keep the instructor happy and get that ace score.

Hope this helps!

Thanks very much for both replies

I didn't realize when I made the first post.. and then didn't see it, that the forum is moderated. Anyways, you answered all my questions. Thanks.

Your site is bookmarked and when I get my system up and running I'll install the demo... I'm sure that there will be lots more questions then.

thanks again
