Good morning everybody, this is my first post, and i'll start with a suggestion to the makers of FSFlying school. Most pilots want to fly the liners, but many are either taken aback by the amount of knowledge required, or have to go through pages and pages of the FCOM, tutorials on youtube, which for the most part are either too simple, when not inaccurate. Have you ever thought about introducing a new section, dedicated to the flight of airliners? Having type ratings would be a very good addition to the program. At least for the most popular aircraft. Think about it. I would be very interested in something like that. Just my two cents....regards,

Can I ask what your own experience is of using the FSX 737-800 Detail Pack with FSFS Pro?
And - which aircraft would you like to see get special attention in the way you have described?

Dear Squadron leader, how are you?
I started with FSX just a few months ago, and I just took my Private Pilot exam on IVAO, so I am still flying the GA aircraft. I did not know about the B737 FSFlying school, that is very good news. The thing is, I know nothing about airliners, I'll be starting to fly a twin engine for my next exam, Senior Private Pilot, but I'll look into your flight school for the B737, maybe you can tell me if it requires already a good knowledge of its systems, or if it is made for absolute beginners just like me.
Coming to your question, I'll eventually get into the B737 classic, NG, B747, MD-11. Of course one at a time. These are pretty much the heavies I want to learn. Let's just say I love pretty much every airplane there is. Besides, the ones I mentioned are the big hits on the IVAO and VATSIM community, so, if you can cover those ones I am pretty sure there will be a lot of interest form the sim community. I hope this will help you out in determining what new products you will release in the futures.

PS. I almost forgot; twin engines are another area I would cover. Personally, I think that flying with airplanes like the c90 King Air, the BBaron58, the Bonanza, is a lot of fun, but most of us do not really know the difference between flying a one engine airplane vs twin engines. Just to make it clear: I am not trying to teach you how to do your job, I am just giving out ideas for your wonderful product, something you can think about. For sure, I would buy everyone of those courses, I can tell you that much. Now I'll shut up, enough talk...bye bye

The FSX Boeing 737-800 Detail Pack is built into FSFlyingSchool PRO and gives instructor Mr Smith a great deal of detailed knowledge about that aircraft. It also comes with written and verbal checklists. These are not at the detailed level of checklists that you might find included with the real aircraft or with some of the more expensive payware add-ons for FSX.
The FSX Boeing 737-800 Detail Pack aims for a middle ground - for the pilot who knows enough about the airplane to fly it, and who wants to learn more detail, but not to the point required to fly the more expensive payware add-ons for FSX.
I imagine this is actually somewhat similar to the popular approach taken by some add-on publishers who have released 'simpler' versions of airliners for folks who do not want to spend the time to read through a thick manual.
So... you will need to fly the plane, but the instructor will be expecting you to use the MCP, flaps, spoilers, speed brake, auto-brakes, auto-throttle, anti-icing, APU, etc in an appropriate manner. 
As to multi-engined propeller aircraft, we are excited about getting into this area of detail packs as correct management of such a machine represents a whole new challenge for the pilot.
