NOTE! All this is explained in the updated manual that comes with version 5.7.2...

but just to make clear - the new "PANIC BUTTON"   is the key sequence...

Ctrl-Shift-S

which functions when the aircraft is airborne and has a standard FSX autopilot.

And now - back to the press release...!

We have some new information for you about the release of a new version of our

FSFlyingSchool Pro add-on for FSX and FS2004!

This new version (5.7.2) is available as:

  • free download demo for folks who are new to FSFlyingSchool Pro
  • free update to registered owners of FSFlyingSchool Pro for FSX and FS2004

In either case -

just download the new demo...

 and install!

(If you already have a registered installation of FSFS Pro for FSX and FS2004 this will update your existing version to version 5.7.2)

(If you do not already have a registered installation of FSFS Pro please install into a NEW folder)

What's new in this version?

  • "Help Me!" panic button!

  • Sometimes, things start to get a little out of control and we could all use some help way up there in the simulated skies.

  • If you as the pilot think that things are getting out of control and you just cannot recover, a recovery may be possible by asking your instructor for emergency assistance via the new FSFS Pro "Help Me" panic button.

  • If this is pressed when the aircraft is airborne, the instructor will immediately try to configure the throttle(s) and autopilot in an attempt to get the airplane back under control.

  • The "Help me" keystroke can be pressed as often as desired.

  • We can't guarantee that your instructor will always be able to save the day, but if things are not too far out of control, he/she will certainly try!
