Hi guys
Similar to other posts I have the problem with the FSUIPC not being able to load in the modules folder. I have looked at the posts on here but not helped me.
Order of events:
FS2009 on hard drive.
FS flying school 2009 bought.,all worked fine. stopped using it.
FS2009 was deinstalled and reloaded in order to give clean install, all works fine long time.
Decided to reinstall flying school. will n ot load up because:
"...could not write copy of the file FSUIPC.DLL into modules.
I have an up to date FSUIPC.DLL file anyway in the correct modules folder. I think it is trying to install it where the old installation was.
I do not know how to redirect it to the correct installation as it does not give me this ability to change it.
What do I do?
Many thanks - andy

Whoops, sorry guys, think I have fixed it. I have changed the permissions for desktop users so can change the setting file. I found this file under the program tree on hard drive where FS flying school was.

Hi Andy: Thanks for using FSFS and well done for getting up and flying with us! Windows security has become so tight that in order for FSFS to function correctly it is necessary that: - The same user installed FSX and FSFS and FSUIPC. - That same user is running FSX and FSFS. - That user is an administrator on that PC. - It may also be necessary to right click on the shortcut that launches FSFlyingSchool and choose "Run as Administrator" in order to avoid problems with Windows Security. Have a great Holiday Season!
