Hello every one,

I love FSFS very much and I use it for every flight I do in FSX with the the challenge to obtain the highest score; however, regardless of some of my splendid landings, in my opinion, I always, always, with no exception receive the message: "you lost the glide slop... not your best effort! So, I concentrate on the glide slop and even in many of my landings where I have a steady red-white indication in the F9 view, I still get this bloody message on every flight I do!!!! How can I improve if FSX tells me I am right but after landing, FSFS tells me I was wrong !!!

Hi -

Can you paste the text from the log book record of such a landing into a reply to this post and we will take a look at it.

Hi -

Thanks for the data. This is interesting...

About the only thing I can think of is that this could be the result of an excessively long glide above the runway before touchdown, by which I mean that the glideslope is followed carefully all the way down to a point just above the runway and then the aircraft, although not climbing (ballooning), continues to glide for a long time before actually touching down.

Mr Smith does not understand such behavior and expects the pilot to put her down once the end of the glideslope has been reached.

That's it in a nutshell. That is what FSFS is looking for. If you are already doing what Smitty expects, then I am sadly baffled.

If you are not already doing this - please try it out and see what results you get.

Finally - congratulations on such great landings in such a BIG aircraft!   Which version are you using (who made the simulated aircraft)?
