Hi,

I am just starting to learn how to land use ILS and need some tips on how to use the system correctly.

Do you follow the ILS right down to the touchdown point, if so, how does FSFS2010 determine the landing score?

In a VFR landing the touchdown point is either a custom made one, or the beginning of the runway surface.

What happens in an ILS landing?

You are dead right - when VFR you land as close as possible to the touchdown point, and if you have not created one yourself, it is the start of the runway strip.

ILS is quite different in FSFS. You follow the glideslope down to the runway and land. You do not have to hit a certain spot.
