Hope someone can help me with this problem: I downloaded a Airbus 380-700. I created an FSU file as per the instructions of the manual. It look like this: [flaps.0] flaps-position.1=1 flaps-position.2=2 flaps-position.3=3 flaps-position.4=4 flaps-position.5=5 flaps-position.6=0.0 flaps-position.7=0.0 flaps-position.8=0.0 flaps-position.9=0.0 [reference speeds] IASTooFastForFlaps0=280 IASTooFastForFlaps1=260 IASTooFastForFlaps2=240 IASTooFastForFlaps3=220 IASTooFastForFlaps4=180 IASTooFastForFlaps5=0 IASTooFastForFlaps6=0 IASTooFastForFlaps7=0 IASTooFastForFlaps8=0 IASStallCruise=170 IASStallLanding=140 IASSlowDown=88888 MaxGearExtension=267 [misc settings] RetractableGear=1 MixtureControl=0 Spoilers=1 FloatPlane=0 FlapsDownDuringTaxi=1 When I open FSFS it reads and shows the flap settings correctly; however, at landing when I lower the flaps FSFS keeps telling me: "you are too fast for that flap setting, retract them" even if I am well under the speed indicated. Then I hear a crash noise and my flaps stop working. How can I solve that? Note that FSX shows a flying tip saying that my speed is too high for that flap setting as soon as lower the flap. Thanks.

Marcan: The problem is very straightforward - the flaps settings need to be specified in degrees. You will need to find the degrees of flaps that each setting represents and use that value. I would imagine this information is available on the web with a Google search. Good luck with your project!
