Hello, I just purchased the most recent FSFS for FSX. Product is registered, so I do have access to all its features. However, I have followed the sequence for starting FSX first, loading a flight plan, and click on fly which puts me on the runway seated in the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. When I alt tab out of FSX, I start FSFS and click connect (the FSFS voice says its connecting). When I get back into FSX it immediately disconnects. I thought maybe it was my settings so I've turned all to medium to low. I am able to run FSX just fine at medium to high settings by itself. My system is an XPS 630i, Core 2 duo 2.83GHZ, 3 GB of ram and running an Nvidia 8800 GTS. Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks B

Hi - it all sounds like you have installed the product correctly. "When I get back into FSX it immediately disconnects." Can you tell us more about what happens? Disconnection can take place for several reasons which are described in the manual in detail. The key question is what does the log book screen in FSFS says was the reason for the disconnection? This is shown, on the screen, at the time of the disconnection - please look there and let us know what you find.

Hi SL, Thanks for your response. Funny, just before I decided to give up on things for the evening (very late), I changed my screen resolution within FSX (I'm assuming to my monitors native resolution) and both programs ran fine, however that was the last time I used fsflyingschool with FSX (2 nights ago). Hopefully all is running fine now. I'll have to jump in again tonight to make sure things are still a go and if not I'll report back. If they are, I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with in game FSX res settings. I will say the one time it did seem to work fine, I had quite a laugh as some girl in the back of my 172 Skyhawk was getting ill as I made my approach to Denver's Centennial airport. Oh and to add, the box in fsflyingschool didn't report a reason for the disconnect. Cheers, B1

Yep works like a charm now. Must have been resolution settings in game. Hope this might help others also having disco errors. Cheers, B1
