This is a puzzle. I don't think we've had such a report before.

I can only imagine a problem occured during the download process.

Try downloading again from here

http://www.fsflyingschool.com/download/FSFlyingSchool_2010_Setup.exe

and please let us know how you get on.

I run windows XP.  I would still like to get a saved version for backup purposes as i have no CD.

Incidentally, when i saved the file it was there almost instantaneously

Don't worry too much about the set up file itself as you can always download it from us and indeed, that way you will always have the most up to date version - and the versions certainly do change quite frequently.

The key thing to save is... your KEYS! (Registration data).

Make sure you print them out with the email information on your purchase etc, or copy it to a CD as you need this if anything happens to your PC. We are always ready to reissue registration keys to customers who can provide proof of purchase or often just tell us roughly when they bought the product.

We often do this with customers who purchased well over 3 years ago.

i'm working from the exe file directly from your upgrade link.  Not too worried about saving a copy now as I know where to get it if necessary

I have hard copies of the keys an have them in seperate drive and folder for ut and paste .
