I have FS 2004 installed to the default directory and purchased a retail CD copy of FS2009.

I've filled in the registration, etc  I think correctly as all the boxes are grey.

I start up FS2004 with the default Cessna 172 at Seattle, then alt-tab to the FS Flying School shortcut.  However, when I click on "connect"  I get the above error message "The specified FS 2004 Folder does not exist" and FS Flying School doesn't work.

FSUIPC is showing in the FS2004 drop down menu.

Any solutions much appreciated!  I've also emailed support but this forum may be faster.

Thanks

Geoff

Geoff:

It sounds like you're 99 percent done.

You've got it registered and FSUIPC is installed.

The only way we can get the message you refer to is if the name of the FS2004 folder is altered to an invalid version, at the Settings Page of FSFS2009, before connect is pressed in FSFS2009, after the FSFS2009 program has been loaded...

Can you please send us a screen shot of the message, also showing the name of the FS2004 folder at the Settings Page of FSFS2009?

To send us a screen shot, press the Print Scrn (print screen) button on your PC keyboard to capture the entire screen and then PASTE that information into an email to us at support@fsflyingschool.com (or you can upload it to the forum).

To PASTE the screen capture, simply press Ctrl V while typing in the body of an email to us. The email will need to be in HTML format (not plain text).

We'll get there!
