  Thanks for your reply. The only thing i have done is install a new graphics card asus 4890 hd. I cant imagine that would be the problem but a really dont know. Like i said i uninstalled and then i installed fsfs again thinking that would cure it but it hasnt. I am runing with user control off. I cant imagine not being able to use fsfs. I have avg anti virus and spy bot search and distroy but then i always have had with no problems with fsfs.

Back to the present day....

This sounds like some form of instability introduced with the installation of the graphics card or some other change to the PC.

I would imagine that it is controlled by what is happening on the PC before FSFS is launched.

When does this current error occur? When FSFS is launched? When it connects to FS? Some other time?

Please let us know.

   error 380 happenes when ever i try to load fsfs from desktop when fsx is running and also when it is not.

It happened before and put itself right. now i got the same problem again.

Something must have changed on the PC - but what?
