| hi i have the latest vesion of the add on needed - 4.53. i load up fsx, i select a cessna 172 load a flight then load in fsx, i appear sat in the airport, i open fs flying school and the connect button is greyed out and at the bottom it says no flight simulator found. any solutions cheers? a new eager flight simmer [Edit] just saw i seem to have version 2.0.0 how do i update? cheers

Hi RFS001
First thing that leaps to mind is - go to the settings tab and make sure that the path to FSX is correct here.  then restart both FSX and FSFS.

it is correct  says "can't connect - IPC timed out all retries

| Hi Does FSUIPC appear on the add-ons menu in FSX? If it does not, it is not correctly installed and we need to look at that. To update FSFS2009 v 2.0 to v 2.3 just download the latest version of the demo from our web site and then install it (and then register it if you bought it.)

| hi, i have updated my fsflying school software and no luck still does not work, yes it shows the add on. attatched is a printscreen of what is shown. cheers

| Hi again - Yes - FSUIPC is installed correctly - that's good. 1. Make sure you are running both FSX and FSFS as an administrator. Otherwise Windows security may cause issues with their ability to communicate.
You can either log out of Windows and log back in as a user with admin rights or you can right click on the programs when you start them and choose Run As Administrator.
This very often solves the problem - please let me know how you get on. 2. Have you used FSUIPC for anything else (this gives us background data)?
