I'm in the process of planning to move my FSX install from the default Vista64 location in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\ to a new drive. (Trusting the fsx_reg_utility will take care of the registry settings.)

As far as FSFS is concerned though, all I should need to do would be to update the FSX folder on the Settings page, correct?

A utility that showed me where the FSX SetupPath registry key is so I could edit it my doggone-self.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\microsoft games\flight simulator\10.0 if anyone's interested.  Usual disclaimers about editing registry keys apply.  You may wonk FSX or even your PC.

Yes. Thats what you do regarding FSFS!

Done and done - thx!
