Hello,
I've just used fsflying school for the first time! It's great!
But i've just got a few questions...
He says: Tell me when you are ready to take off! How do I do that?
He says: How many nautical miles are we from our destination? How do I tell him?
When I try and load a flight plan I'm only able to load a zip file and when I click to load that it says file does not exist??? How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!Hi there Hardcore. When Mr. Smith tell you to let him know, he means that you must press Ctrl-shift-Z to advance to takeoff mode (if in Taximode that is) before taking off, so he knows your intentions. When he asks you questions inflight, youre not supposed to answer them. You cannot. But he asks so that you can make yourself aware of the issues he brings up. How manu nautical miles to your destination? Just to bring your attention to that important issue, so you can see if youre on the right track, have enough fuel, and so on. Flightplan: You make a flightplan in FS (2004 or X) and save that. Then in FSFlyingschool you load that flightplan. Browse to the dir where you have your FS flightplans and choose it. then it works. And if it still bothers you, please just ask more.... and if it dosent, pop in here once in awhile and say hi, look at our competitions and whatever you like. Hope it helps.
Regards

ThanksHardcore. Im sure SL will get back to you tommorow, BUT, the only thing I can see in your picture, is that you are not in the default flightplan dir, and I honestly dont know if you can make FSX throw them into a different dir - sure you can, but have you done that? because if not, then you should probably back out a notch and look in the main ....document/Flight simulator X folder. But apart from that, I dont know about the zipped problem, sorry.

Hardcore: I think I see what the issue is. You need to save your flight plans in the blah blah blah etc.........\Flight Simulator X Files folder. When you look at it using Windows Explorer you will see flight plan files which end in .PLN (if you have "show me file extensions" turned on). Then just tell FSFS2009 to look in blah blah blah etc.........\Flight Simulator X Files itself for flight plans. Remember that when you are using the 'Browse for folder' dialog in FSFS2009 you are selecting the folder which contains your flight plans and not a flight plan itself. As to why the Flight Simulator X Files folder contains compressed folders (zipped files), these must be something a user of your PC created. FSFS does not support looking in compressed folders for data - but this is not an issue - just do what I have described above and you should be fine.
