Oh this is a day I´ve been waiting for. My beloved Twin Otter from Aerosoft has been added to the hanger, along with lots of other planes in this new update of the hanger. Now its not .fsu files anymore, but real .fsr files and then scores can be uploaded to the web using those aircraft.

Thank you guys for another burst of free gifts for us the users.

Yep - Ole is right and thanks for the kind words.

Many thanks to all the FSFS2009 users who contributed to the new planes in The Hangar.

It took us a while to get them into The Hangar and we promise to get them done quicker in the next batch.

So... please keep 'em comin'.

How...?

Easy!

Just enter some fine tuned data for your favorite airplane into the aircraft page in FSFS2009 and send us the FSU file it creates. You can get data on the plane from the reference and checklist files that came with the add-on plane and of course FSFS2009 well even compute or guess most of it for you! :D

I know what you mean, Ole. My Cessna 206 Staionair and Piper Arrow IV were just added. It's my first fsr submission and it didn't work. Now it's sorted out (thanks SL) and I really want to try them but I should go to work so I can buy more stuff. I'm setting-up a new system so I can run FSX Gold Edition and I guess I'll have to buy them again. I'll have to have that twin Otter too! You may have seen my photos of seaplanes in Vancouver harbour, recently on Flight Sim Network.

You bet I did, and I thought I placed comments on them, but now it seems I didnt. Sorry. I am a sucker for seaplanes.

And I can recommend the Twin Otter. That is one great plane. Just bear in mind that you need a throttlecontrol with two throttle levers if you want to "sail" around on the water with it. It has no water rudder, so you have to control it by increasing/decreasing power on engines one and two.

When youre ready we have some friendly competitions flying around and trying to beat each other. You could join in if you want!
