Hi SL,

I found some strange behavior of the forum editor.

It happened me 2 times today, that after a preview of my post, everything was empty after this.

Normally I'm using Firefox, but because of the pictures in the Hawaii-tour I use IE for this. It happened till now only in IE.

I just had made a post about the 4th leg from the Hawaii tour with pictures, did a preview and BANG! everything got blank again. Grrrrrrfffffffmmmmmm.

Should try again tomorrow. Did you have any suggestions about this?

Kindly regards,

JAcob.

Regards,
Jacob.

Jacob:

Ouch - sorry top hear about this.

This is not a general problem and so I can only conclude it must be either:

1. A transient problem that was caused by Martians

or

2. Related to your PC's set up

My advice is that if you are writing something more than just a few lines, always have a separate copy of it before causing the browser to refresh or display a new page. I speak from experience because if the browser cannot insert the data into the database when I press a 'Post Reply' button or similar, all the text I have typed is usually lost.

So... I paste it into a spare email of something like that just to be sure. This is my homemade insurance policy...
