Hi Folks.

Due to the power of my PC's, I spread the load of software between 2 machines where possible, does anyone know if its possible to run FSFlyingSchool Networked? If so, is this documented?

Thanks.

Hi sr71:

Some folks out there have run FSFS in a networked environment with WideFS, but with a problem. The special FSFS keystrokes are being repeated once when they are used which has the effect of telling the instructor that you are advancing the flight mode to landing mode when you really just meant to say "going into cruise mode".

This is unfortunate, but you could still try out FSFS on your PCs with WideFS to get a taste of the action for free (the FSFS part at least) using our free demo.

We are working on a solution for the WideFS "FSFS keystroke repeat" problem.

Hi.

Thanks for your reply, this answers my question.

I already own a copy of FSFS, and think that this can remain running on my actual FS PC in the background, I do not want to loose any functionality etc. I plan to load balance by moving other software into a network setup, and (fingers crossed) hope will balance resources enough to keep things running smoothly.

Thanks :-)
