Having chosen an aircraft in FSX and starting FSFS i would expect FSFS to recognize the ordinary Cessna 172 and show its data on the aircraft section, but it does not happen! What might be wrong here?

Kind Regards

Lars

Hi Lars.

It does! What I think you might have experienced here is the fact that the plane isn´t recognized until you press connect, and go to the actual flight. If you wait about 30 seconds and then alt-tab back to FSFS aircraft page, you will see the c172.fsr set as plane.

If you choose a plane not recognized by default - being in the hanger - see HERE, you will - when you connect FSFS to FSX (or FS9) after 10-15 seconds see a green line state "unknown aircraft - estimating profile" meaning that not every plane is in the hanger, and thus ready to upload scores to the web from, but all planes are flyable....
