Hi all I just ran a quick flight from Llanbedr to Aberporth. I had a game spotting the runway, and when I did my approach was not great. I decided to try to make it stick by coming in like a Stukka (in my Cessna 152II ). It became all too apparent that it was about to go seriously pear-shaped, so I gave it full throttle and went around again. Thing is - Mr Brown was giving me jip about my flying as if the landing was still "on". What is the best way of letting him know that this is to be a "go-around"? All the best, Andy

I believe I am right in saying you if you simply back-up your flight mode to "cruise mode" this has precisely the effect you want. It is in effect the same as saying to Smitty, "Do you know what, Smitty old chap? I think we are going to 'go-around' as they say..."
