We'd like to hear from all simulator pilots - which FS add-ons are you using at the same time as FSFS?

The more information we get on this the better advice we can give to folks considering downloading our demos or even buying FSFS.

It will also help folks put together some really cool configurations for their simulator and most likely resolve some technical issues too.

So - please take a minute to let us know which add-ons you are using at the same time as FSFS.

We are especially intested to hear of add-ons which complement the FSFlyingSchool experience, such as other products which talk to you or indeed which you talk to.

In that department - the voicebased programs, I use one: Namely the "its your plane" add on. A program that allows you to fly using voicecommands for most of the flying.

And in other categories, I use a small freeware program called "snapthot" for taking screenshots on the WWT flights (se elsewhere in this forum)

All my add on planes and scenery packs - well I will make a list of those later and add to this post.

Ole Andreasen, Denmark

I'm using Cockpit Chatter and VoxATC on the FSX machine alongside FSFlyingSchool (until WideFS support works ) and then also ActiveGraphicsX and ActiveSkyX, and XPax on a second machine via SimConnect.  All of these seem to work fine together on a Core i7 965 @ 4GHz, although as I have said in my previous posts, all three voices (Co-pilot, ATC and Flight Instructor) through the headphones is confusing at times - I could turn the Flight Instructor voice off, but that defeats most of the object .

Hence I'd like FSFS2009 SP1 to include either WideFS/SimConnect support or support for multiple sound cards (I have both).

Hope this helps.

In earlier versions of MS FS I have extensive used freeware aircraft but FSX graphics and default aircraft are so good that I prefer to maintain or exceed that standard in any add-on aircraft. When flying FSX across 3 x 21" screens via MATROX TripleHEad2Go with Track IR PRo 4 this results in an amazingly immer5sive and realistic experience. Only somebody like myself who is both retired and living alone could persue sim flying this assiduously as I cannot imagine any wife or grilfriend tolerating such outlay which inevitably means cutting down on everything else! But all my retired pilot local friends love coming round for som VFR time at the controls again!

Quad CPU, 4GBRAM, nVidia 8800GTX, Xi-Fi Fatal1ty, MATROX TripleHead2Go, 3 x 22", 1TB HD. CH Pedals, SAITEK-ProYoke, GC Unit, quadrant x 2, SwitchPanel, LP8000, P2500. Logitech-F3D ProStick, G25 wheel, StickShift, pedals, HOTAS Cougar, A4 GeniusTablet

I agree with you about retirement. I'm retired from the USNavy Submarine Force, and also from being a minister. Gives me a lot of time to fly. I put in about 30 hours/week in the flight deck.
