¨. Time goes waay to fast. This is my general opinion. I can see days pass, and weeks go by. I cannot understand that Christmas is once again upon us, and that my oldest daughter is close to being 17 years. So it is good to feel, on a rare occasion, that time is actually slow – that so much can be achieved in a no time, or next to no time. 6 months ago, today, I got my reg. key to FSFlyingSchool. The night before I sat by my computer, and opened my mail. In it, was a mail from fspilotshop.com. It was a newsletter and scattering through it, I came across this add, saying, click here to fly with your own instructor – or something similar to that. I don´t know why, I usually don´t fall for that kind of adds, but this one talked to me somehow, and so I clicked it. The rest, as they say, is history. The add was for FSFlyingSchool of course and less than an hour later, I had bought the program, and sat there waiting for my reg. key to unlock the Demo to a full program. In the meantime I flew in the demoarea and had fun, but not until the next day could I fly in my own country, Denmark. It has been half a year that has changed my simflying so much. It is impossible not to improve your skills when Mr.Smith is talking to you. My 14 year old son, is a World of Warcraft player, and cannot understand what the fun is in flying, when you can´s shoot anyone. When he finally takes the wheel, he only does it, to fly like a madman, and crash. But one day I urged him to try it, and had FSFlyingSchool turned on. He laughed and said that it would make no difference. I left him and five minutes I came back – and saw him sitting, frowning and deeply concentrated. Mr.Smith still talked to him, so he had not crashed. I let him sit there alone for a little longer, and not long after, he actually landed the plane – didn´t crash it. He got a smashing Zero from Smith, and started arguing with Smith about the unfairness of that zero. I could only smile. Smith actually had even my son laying the combatflying off, and trying to fly straight and level. I myself has gone from flying Cessnas around Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, and to Roskilde, and back again. A flight of about 20 miles. Anything longer than that, juuuust seemed to long. And now I fly Boeing 737´s and 747´s on cross Atlantic flights, and landing correctly with ILS landinghelp, or without ILS landinghelp. My flying has become so – boring you could say – compared to my former divebomber landings, and stuntflying. I prefer to call it, realistic flying! Anyway, it has been such a thrilling experience to have FSFlyingSchool by my side, when flying, that anything else would go before FSFS. Could I have only one addon to FSX, this would be it. Thanks a lot for inventing it.
Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark

Ole: Many thanks for the kind words about FSFS! So glad to hear how much you've got out of it and that it can even tempt a World of Warcraft teenager! It's tough to compete with 'shooting' games, but for those folks out there who want something a little less violent and perhaps 'deeper' complexity - FSX and FSFS are a good combination. If you want to add stress to your leisure time (I can't believe I just wrote that) you can always push that FSFlyingSchool failures slider into the lower digits - things will get pretty dicey very quickly. No - you won't get shot at, but you will be in peril and only you will be able to save the day. Old Smitty must have a dry sense of humour. There you are trying to figure why the 2nd engine has quit and all he has to say is "You're not lined up with the runway...!"
