I fly almost exclusively on Flight Sim Economy (FSEconomy... http://www.fseforums.com/ check out the forums if any of you are interested). FSeconomy is a free PHP program that uses a client to connect flight sim to FSeconomy. Essentially what FSEconomy does is remember where your airplane is and provide jobs to fly between airports, you can make money, buy your own aircraft, run your own FBOs and eat up all of your free time.
This leads me to my question. I usually don't know where I'm going to be flying to when I'm using FSE so I would like to create a database of every airfield in FS9. How do you get the data for the files in Non ILS folder? alternatively, how do I make my own files for use in the Non-ils folder? It would be great if there were a way to query FS9 that produced the raw data used to write these files, is that possible?

There is a whole section in the "manual" about how to make non-ILS files. But, basically it's real easy once you get the hang of it. There's a little work involved of placing your plane on the specific runways, getting some data, and then basically copying an existing file to your new one....and then placing the new file in the non-ILS folder. You just have to get all the lat's and long's...kinda of a pain, but has to be done.
But check out the manual first, and if you still have problems....SL, Ole, or myself can help you out...

Thanks Joe for helping out! Prof - we are working towards a solution that will mean that this step is no longer necessary. I will keep everyone posted here - it is my hope that you will not have to wait too long!
