If you get a non-zero score in FSFlyingSchool for a flight, a landing or a circuit, you will get a link at the Log Book Screen from which you can post your score on the web site tables.

This gives you the chance to become so unimaginably famous that CNN crews will probably chase you everywhere and Mr Jackson will almost certainly hire you as chief technical consultant for his forthcoming production of The Dambusters.

The first time you attempt to post a score to the web site tables, you will be asked for information and to give yourself a name (or nickname).

We recommend that you use the same name that you use on the forum, so we all know who is getting those great scores!

If you have not joined the forum at the time you post your first web score, then, it follows, you would want to use the same name as you used for your scores when you join the forum.

And a final key point - if you were to join the forum under another (2nd or 3rd... etc) name, this does not affect submitting scores. The scores will always be submitted by the name you chose when you first submitted a score.

If you wanted to submit scores under 2 different names you would need 2 different registered versions of FSFlyingSchool.

Had you told me this in advance, I would have seriously considered buying a second license, just to post results for the WWT, but now we are already underways, and therefore I will save the cash for now. Should we ever get to a second annual WWT, (and nobody really believes that right now do they?) then I will get a second license with a unique name for that one.

Ole:

It never occurred to me that someone would buy a separate license just to post scores two different ways.

That explains why my scores are posted to "dan" and not "wwt_dan".

Does FSFlyingSchool remember the name I used to post the first score, or is it a browser cookie?

It stores the name you chose in a database on our web site.
