I love FSFlyingSchool! I used to fly alot back in 98 but due to life had to back away. This program allows me to get back into the swing of flying again!

I LOVE the Carenado Cessna Centurion and just had to create an FSU for this great program. I also have the Cessna Stationair 6 II (206) and will make an FSU for that as well as I get time.

Enjoy!

Aaron:

Many thanks for the kind words about FSFS and for taking the time to share your work with all of us.

We will add the data you have created to The Hangar as soon as possible so that others can enjoy scoring with the plane!

Say - if you fancy flying around the world, check out the posts by Ole and JoeMini about the WWT!

Aaron:

I just looked at the Hangar and found that a

Carenado_Centurion.fsr

is already there - so if you have the latest FSFS version you should already have it.

I hope this helps as it means you can submit scores right now if you wish.

Thanks but it didn't recognize my plane when I tried to fly? It must have been added recently.
I will work on the 206 next

BTW the reason that file didn't work is that my folder was installed as Carenado Centurion and the files name doesn't match as it shows Carenado_Centurion.fsr (notice the _)

Aaron: From one user to another: Welcome to the FSFS forums. I am very very impressed.

Yesterday you came as completely new to FSFS, and asked questions, but you didn´t sit back and wait for an answer. You tried to solve your problems yourself. Then a day later I see you trying to help yet another new user (PLOlson), out. There are details in Olsons post, that I don´t know anything about, so I´ll leave the answer to Squadron Leader, who knows everything, But to see such eagerness to pass on newfound knowledge, to others in want, that is just great. Hats off.

And in regards to this post, about the exact spelling of the planefiles in Flight Simulator, you are absolutely correct.

once again, welcome to...

.

Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark

Aaron:

You are quite right about the FSR file!

For some reason which poor mortals such as myself don't follow, it appears that the folders into which planes are installed often have different names depending on if they are FS2004 or FSX, but what's more - the only difference is that spaces have been replaced by underscores or vice versa... oh my head....

I can only imagine that the file I saw was an FS2004 file version of that plane... perhaps... maybe...

Anyway - we will add yours to the Hangar with its next update. Many thanks and thanks to Ole for the warm welcome ceremony!
