Few days ago I purchased FSFS inkl. FSIA and have an issue with FSIA:
When defining Approach Airport to be EDDS Stuttgart (Germany) a message pops up: "Could not find airport: EDDS". For other airports everything is okay.
Simulator is MSFS on Win 10, all actual.
In MSFS my "homebase EDDS" is available.
I tried "Generate runway data for Flight Simulator 2020", but obviously this does not work. Same effect when starting "MakeRwys.exe" directly. Even not shure, wheather this would be the right solution to correct this issue.
Your advice to get EDDS working is much appreciated.

Hi Norbert:
This is very puzzling but I am sure we can solve it for you.
There appears to be something wrong with the file in your FS Instant Approach folder.
1. Rename the file in your FS Instant Approach folder called
FS2020.TXT
to
FS2020.BAD
so it will be ignored by FS Instant Approach.
2. Copy the file
FS2020.RWY
from your FSFlyingSchool folder (where FSFlyingSchool 2022 for Microsoft Flight Simulator is) into your FS Instant Approach folder
and then rename it it to
FS2020.TXT
That should solve it.

Nur in der Schule, als ich 11 Jahre alt war. Spaeter lese ich immer eine kleine bisschen Deutsch, weil fuer mich es sehr interessant ist. Und ich habe 3 spass Reisen in Deutschland gemacht - Berlin 1989(!), Berlin 2000 und Muenchen 2005. 😊
