I purchased upgrades for FSIA 2022 and FSFS 2022 and have set the XP12 folder and installed the position aircraft plugin.
Neither product sees XP12-there is a red error line at the botton saying Xplane not found and the connect button is greyed out in both.

Hi:
I am sorry to read you have had this problem.
The security on the PC may be blocking communication. Please take the following steps for both FSFlyingSchool and FS Instant Approach...
Run FSFlyingSchool 'as an administrator'.
You should do this even if you are the only person who uses the PC and even if you are an administrator.
To do this, right click on the FSFlyingSchool icon, shortcut or menu item you use to launch FSFlyingSchool, select
'Properties' from the menu, select the 'Compatibility' tab, and turn ON 'Run this program as an administrator'.
As explained in the product manuals, the free XPUIPC is needed also - does it appear on the plugins menu in XP when you are in a plane?
