when I open fsflyingschool the bottom of the application is below my screen, making it hard to see the 3 bottons, view manual, demo area map and show tips. Is there any way to reduce the size of the app. Like grabbing the top with the mouse and dragging it down slightly?

Hi Ganfax:
Thanks for your interest in FSFlyingSchool - glad to help!
FSFlyingSchool is a fixed size window - it cannot be adjusted - and its size is intended to fit displays people are using nowadays.
You may be able to achieve different results if you explore Windows settings and options.
It is just over 800 pixels tall, so I imagine your display is less than this?
Would it be possible to use the PC with a different resolution such as 1280 x 960?
