Hi all.
I have a doubt concerning the changes of the landing runway.
When loading a file plan, in FSFS we can choose the landing runway. But how to manage the situation when ATC, for some reasons, changes the planned runway? Is it possible in some way to "inform" MSFS of the runway change? Otherwise the instructor continues to expect the old choice, and the rating is completely ruined.
Thanks

Hi Bitflo:

You can change the runway at the flight plan screen of FSFlyingSchool while you are still connected. This tells the instructor where you will be landing.

Note however that you will need to make sure that none of the other options in FSFlyingSchool override this. Such options depend on which version of FSFlyingSchool you are using.

Hi Jeff,
thanks for the quick answer. Your indication actually worked, I have the standard registered version of FSFS for Microsft Flight Simulator.
One more thing: I still did not try the Voice Command Pack (I have the italian version of Windows 10 and some problems with its Voice Recongnition engine), but with it is it also possible change the landing runway by voice, avoiding the need to reopen the FSFS window?
Thanks.

Hi Bitflo:

Excellent result!

Regarding the Voice Pack - you can change the runway with the "next runway" voice command. It will select the next runway at the airport. This tells the instructor where you will be landing.

Of course, if the airport has a large number of runways you will need to say this more than once to get to the one you want.

Be sure to read the manual for full details.

As I mentioned before - you will need to make sure that none of the other options in FSFlyingSchool override this. Such options depend on which version of FSFlyingSchool you are using.

Have a great weekend of flights!

Hi Jeff.
Thank you again for the answer.
At present I am having some conflicts between the indications of MSFS (as the blue brackets in the sky indicating the path for landing) and those of the FSFS instructor. This usually leads to a low landing score (<30). I will delve more in the manual to better understand the reasons.
Thanks
