drkarem (1/28/2021) i receive this message you are below the glide slope despite the fact that my alt comes from Navigraph charts
"Below the glide slope" is the right place to be when coming in for an ILS landing. As long as you are at the right altitude and on the localizer, and your AP is set to APR, you will eventually interset the glide slope and start to descend to the runway.
FSFS will keep calling out encouragement to intersect the glideslope at this time, but be patient and wait for the GS to be intersected. IMO the call-out from FSFS is a bit confusing. It would be better to say, "You are below the glideslope. Now wait to intersect it," if you are flying straight and level, but that would probably require a good bit of AI logic in the programming.
If you just note the call-out and then ignore its repetition, you'll be okay.

Hi drkarem:
Thanks to Gil for helping with this!
The instructor will say "You're below the glideslope - let's intersect it" and will repeat this until you do as being below the glideslope is a dangerous place to be if you are near the runway or uncertain of your AGL and nearby terrain.
