Hi there.
I noted that FSFlyingschool works for x-plane works with the DA40 from Shade Tree Micro (left nav bar on http://www.fsflyingschool.com/Demo-X-Plane.asp)
DA40-180 Diamond Star (Shade Tree)
I've installed FSFlyingschool and it works with e.g. the Cessna 172
However when I try with the DA40 I get this error:
AUTO-Disconnection due to:
This aircraft is not automatically supported by FSFlyingSchool and
FSFlyingSchool could not load an FSFlyingSchool '.FSR' file nor a user created '.FSU' file
for this aircraft:
da40v11
from the Aircraft folder of FSFlyingSchool.
Unsupported Aircraft - Please fly in one of the aircraft supported by FSFlyingSchool or
create an '.FSU' file for it as explained in the FSFlyingSchool manual.
Please help.
Thanks

Hi Bendecko:
This is a puzzle! The plane is automatically supported but we can solve this easily - in your FSFlyingSchool aircraft folder just copy the file
xpDA40.fsr
to a new file, in the same folder, called
xpda40v11.fsr
and that should solve the issue.
Please let me know how you get on and if you have any questions.

That's done it. Thanks.
There is a xpda40v864-v9.fsu file in there too. My copy of STM's DA40 is new, I assume that is for an older version.

Hi Bendecko:
Excellent result.
Your experience is still a puzzle as the version of this simulated plane should make no difference.
Regardless - have a great week of flights!
