Hello, Group,
I bought FSFlyingSchool 2018 with the Voice Pack last month, and settled on Miss Aviatrix as the instructor. I guess I just find her to be the most fun to listen to, even when she's giving me h*ll about my flying ("You call THAT a landing?!"). My daughter compared her an "angry GPS" (automobile GPS).
My question is do all the same instructors provide the same information, or is there a difference? Do people argue over which one is better?
Having grown tired of using the Google site search, I thought I'd just ask.
Thank you for your patience,
Jim

Hi Jim:
All the instructors for X-Plane give the base level of instruction.
Aviatrix and Mitchell give extra instruction in the c172.
Smith - the "chief instructor" - knows everything FSFlyingSchool knows, so he gives extra instruction in all the detail pack planes AND also the add-on packs (which at the date of writing are all built into FSFlyingSchool 2018 for X-Plane 11 and 10) which are not airplane detail packs, such as the Autopilot Tutor and Weather Tutor.

Thank you, Jeff, for the prompt reply and sorry for my tardy one.
I got to noodling around with FSFS and X-Plane, and discovered that if connected, the instructors will cheerfully (well for them...) critique an X-Plane Replay as if it were a live flight.
I "replayed" the same short VFR flight 3 times and made an audio track with each instruction connected, in turn. The points they made were virtually identical, except for style.
It is worth noting that this was a very simple flight; the fanciest thing used was probably trim.
