Hello,

it’s me again and I have another Detail Pack question.

I was going to get me a Cherokee 140 developed by vFlyteAir but I don’t know which one exactly is supported fully by the Cherokee 140 Detail Pack? There are three different 140s in their store, that’s why I’m not sure now.

There is the:
vFlyteAir Simulations Piper Cherokee 140 Glass Panel for X-Plane 11
second is a:
vFlyteAir Simulations Piper Cherokee 140 Original version for X-Plane 11
and last one:
vFlyteAir Simulations Piper Cherokee 140 Classic Version

Or are they all three fully supported by the Detail Pack?

Thanks in advance and best regards

airbreaker

Hi airbreaker:

The flights during the pack's development were done with the...

vFlyteAir Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee “N3466K Original” v 2.0

After installation, the base plane has a vFlyteAir patch program run to get it ready for XP11.

The FSFlyingSchool Cherokee 140 Detail Pack will engage when any aircraft is flown with that name (Cherokee 140) in its aircraft folder name in X-Plane.

As you plan to use a plane you are about to buy with the pack, I strongly recommend you get the

vFlyteAir Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee “N3466K Original” v 2.0.

Hey SquadronLeader,

thank you for the fast reply!

You mean this one? http://www.vflyteair.com/piper-cherokee-140-original-version.php

Then I will get this.

The thing is, I want to have an airplane to learn all the basics of flying in corporation with the FSFlyingSchool 2018, and a working DetailPack is not bad to have then, or?

Shall I maybe focus on another airplane first for all the basics? I'm very new to flying, any recommendation is appreciated!

Hi airbreaker:

Yes that is the plane.

You can certainly start with the c172 which comes with X-Plane and has a detail pack built into FSFlyingSchool 2018 for X-Plane 11 and 10.

That gets you the detail pack experience without buying an add-on plane.

Having established that, it should be noted that the detail pack for the Cherokee 140 is more detailed.

Perhaps start with the c172 and if you like it go to the Cherokee 140?

Have a great weekend of flights!
