In FSFlyingSchool the instructor volume is set separately for each plane you choose to fly - this means it can be selected to best suit the sounds coming from the aircraft, which can vary a great deal.

The settings you chose, for each separate aircraft you have flown in that session, are saved automatically when you exit FSFlyingSchool.
