vtman49 (11/17/2011)I need some help so I can figure out how to fix this run time error, I load a flight plan get it all ready go in to fsfs and load the flight plan hit connect and get this error Run time error 2147200940 (80045054) Automation error, can someone help me figure this out I have had fsfs for about a month or more and have not been able to use it. I don't know if there are other problems with the program that is not making it work. Please help.

| Hi - The error most likely relates to sound hardware and software. 1. Are you using USB headphones, or changing sound settings in FSFS itself, or using Skype or WinAMP or other sound related software? 2. Which sound cards appear at the "Other" drop down list at the settings screen of FSFS? 3. What results do you get when you choose other sound cards from that list (if there are several)? This will often solve the issue. Please let me know how you get on.

Hi I wonder if someone can please help me?
I have just purchased FS flight school pro from Just flight, and I have entered the registration key details in the selected boxes, when I clicked "Register Program" nothing has happened and the connect button is now shaded out.
I also have a flashing box that is telling me status: No Flight simulator found.
Can some please advise me what to do, as I would like to start my flying experience now I have purchased this.

Hi I have managed to resolve my first enquiry but now I have another issue.
when I run my fsx in administrator option as well as my Fs flying school, when I connect, I get this: an Error has occurred
ERROR: 75 - Path/file access error
Location: Write/Nil
Can somebody please help me with this, this is starting to get really annoying now?

Hi DL:
In order to function with the latest versions of Windows, FSFlyingSchool should always be run 'as an administrator'.
You need to do this even if you are the only person who uses the PC and even if you are an administrator.
To do this, right click on the FSFlyingSchool icon, shortcut or menu item you use to launch FSFlyingSchool, select 'Properties' from the menu, select the 'Compatibility' tab, and turn ON 'Run this program as an administrator'.
This will permanently force Windows to remember this and run FSFS as an administrator.
If after this procedure has been followed you still have any problems - please send a screen shot of any issue to support@FSFlyingSchool.com
