Hi Steve.
Yea it´s a great video - I saw it the other day via a Facebook link.
Actually there is nothing to stop you from doing those great formation flying with a shocked Mr. Smith as an innocent bystander (!)
If you enable the feature where Mr. Smith monitors air traffic, he will probably s*** a brick about the proximity of the aircraft around you, but as long as you fly straight - its alright.
You need to fly online of course. Luckily online flying with FSFlyingSchool works flawless. But only the ones with FSFlyingSchool will have the treat of the instructor telling you (off)
Of course we could use a feature, where Smith not only knows that "that aircraft is awfully close" but could tell you exactly HOW close (perhaps a new feature???) If Smith could be told that we are now in formation mode - he could stop being so jumpy about the proximity of other aircraft, but instead help out by telling us that - "OK you have an aircraft at three o´clock - one hundred feet - and an aircraft nine o´clock - one hundred feet. Then we´d know that the two ones are placed correctly - and so on...
Would be cool
Regards
