I currently have 7.6.1. What's been added into (or deleted from) 7.7.1?
And while we're on the subject, an explanation of how one does do an upgrade from one version to the next. I cannot find how to do so in the manual.
(If I remember right, I think you download the new demo and reinstall the new version -7.7.1- in the same exact location as the old version, in this case: 7.6.1)
It's been a while. I can't remember the last time I upgraded any version of FSFS, being my upgrades lately have mostly been purchases, ex., going from FSFS 2013 to FSFS 2014, etc...TIA...

Hi Steve.
As long as you are in the same version - like V7 (2014 pro) you simply install the latest version into the same directory as you have the older version in - OR use a different directory and re-register, with your reg. info.
As for changes. well the manual explains the changes in any current vesion - my latest version contains the following changes since v7.6.1
(Features in version 7.7.1)
Advanced Airmanship Challenges : Your instructor Mr Smith has a whole new set of challenges for you to master! Building upon FSFlyingSchool's popular Airmanship Challenge mode, Mr Smith will soon have you flying with great skill and precision.
Whereas all of the previous Airmanship Challenges were based on maintaining a heading, airspeed, altitude, pitch or bank, these new additional tests require the pilot to both set and maintain up to 4 different flight parameters at the same time!
"Turn to 273 degrees, while climbing to 5,200 feet and accelerating to 85 knots indicated airspeed".
Are you flying at this level of precision? Can you prove it?
This is your chance to show Mr Smith you've got what it takes!
In addition, the target values are now displayed on screen for easy reference.
Before trying it - read the Airmanship Challenge section within this manual for full details.
Hope it helps
Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark
