The recent email that was sent out with tips, mentioned filing a flight plan. Was it talking about with the built-in ATC, or in FSFlyingSchool?

I haven't noticed any difference in my score when filing a plan with the X-plane ATC, and I don't see anywhere to enter a plan on the FSFlyingSchool interface. I know it has a flight plan page, but that seems to only contain transition altitude, and vspeeds (as well as generate runway data).

Am I missing something?

Hi Rhino:

Apologies for the information in the email.

It was meant to apply to all users of FSFS, but sadly missed the fact that it is not possible to file a flight plan with FSFS in the X-Plane version of FSFS.

The FSX and P3D versions of the product have a great many more features than the XP version and we are working on catching up! We value are XP customers greatly and are determined to bring as many features as we can to that simulator - hence the recent publication of FS Instant Approach PRO for XP10.

New features will of course be announced here and by email.

Hopefully the other items on the list of tips in the recent email will come in handy!
