Hi
I was just wondering why nobody seems to be posting scores anymore. I seem to be the only one doing so. Certainly the only one for 2014. I must admit I do not know how pilots achieved those high scores. I have been doing mainly circuits in a Cessna 172SP Paint 1 and with doing almost everything right I can only get to 89.01 (so far). 6th in the Cessna but 1st for 2014 LOL

Hi Ivan:
Well done on your scores!
Posting scores is not everyone's thing of course, but I had a quick look and found posts (landings or flights or circuits) for the following planes this year...
Cessna Skyhawk 172SP G1000
Cirrus_SJ50
P180 Avanti Ferrari Team
Columbia-400 full_white
Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint4
PA-34 SENECA II GREEN FOREST
C172R default
Boeing 737-800 Alaska Airlines Luao ETOPS
Cirrus TheJet
Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint1
Cessna Grand Caravan Paint1
...so folks are certainly doing it, in X-Plane, FSX and FS2004.
Not a flood for sure - but then that thins the competition!

A payware plane, the FSD International Aerostar 700, is on the scoring list here, and the preloaded fsr for the FSD Aerostar 700 is in my C/Prog Files86/FS Flying School folder, as can be seen in the screenshots below.
It is an FS9 aircraft only, so there cannot be any possible confusion with any FSX version of the FSD Aerostar 700, because FSD does not offer a FSX version of this 700.
Upon starting FSFS in game, the message bar says it is 'estimating profile'.
At the end of the session, I had to make my own fsu, even though I already have (what I assume) is the correct fsr in my folder. Any idea why? TIA.

Hi:
The file is called: "FSD_Aerostar.fsr"
and so FSFlyingSchool will use that file for information on a plane in a folder called: "FSD_Aerostar".
The FSU file you created is called: "FSD Aerostar.fsu".
FSFlyingSchool names the files itself when the FSU is created and so the plane involved must be in a folder called: "FSD Aerostar".
In order to make the FSR file work with the plane, it would be necessary for the plane's folder name to be the same as the FSR file name - that is - "FSD_Aerostar".

Edited that file, and did a test flight with the FSD Aerostar -Aluminium White livery: http://www.fsflyingschool.com/map.asp?id={9F278CBB-11E1-4B49-84E3-E68257631E1A}
That above info fixed it. Works perfectly now, thanks again.
