Should I disable ATC while using FSFS? Can't listen to 2 people at once, but how can I ignore ATC?

Hi again Dave:
There are different options here...
If things are very busy with ATC you can tell your instructor "Let me fly by myself" as described in the Voice Pack manual, which explains...
"Instructor will monitor flight but will say nothing. All your voice commands will be processed, but your instructor will keep quiet."
You can also reduce the amount that is spoken by the instructor as much as you want by using the options at the Pilots, Aircraft and Settings screens of FSFS.
Note that FSFS comes with many things turned OFF or ON when you install it - most pilots change these options eventually so that they can go flying exactly as they want to.
You can even interrupt the instructor by saying "Be quiet please".
