I run FSX full screen on a dual monitor set-up. The PC and video card are quite high spec. (I can run photscenery easily).
So I set up FSX (Admin) - in the plane on the runway. I have to switch to a windowed view of FSX to run FSFS. Runs and connects. But then I can't get back into FSX!!
Is this a known issue and if so, is there a fix.
I would really like to get this to work having paid for it and the idea appeals but so far just frustration.
I have downloaded and installed the add-on as detailed in the manual.

Hi John:
Sorry to hear about the trouble.
Lots of folks are running our products with windowed and full screen modes and also with multiple monitors.
I won't assume too much about your configuration - and will proceed with basics - that we can go from there if we need to.
You need to have 2 programs (FSX and FSFlyingSchool) running at the same time, each of which you will start or 'launch' yourself.
You must launch FSX first, get into a plane, and only then launch FSFlyingSchool.
The easiest way to do this will be if you always operate FSX in a window instead of letting it fill the whole screen.
You must force it into a window by first launching it, then getting into a plane, and then pressing ALT ENTER in order to accomplish this. Each time you press this, FSX will switch back and forth between being in a window, or filling the whole screen.
Once you have forced it into a window, you should at once see that it, like everything else in Windows, is now in its own window, with a border.
You can now move it around the screen and change its size and shape.
You must get it into a position where you can see both FSX and the FSFlyingSchool program, which I am about to explain how to start.
Now that you can see FSX and some other parts of your screen on your PC, you must find the icon for FSFlyingSchool on your PC.
Once you have found the icon for FSFlyingSchool or found it on your Start Menu, click on it twice (the icon) or once (on the Start Menu) to "launch" it.
At that point you will see it start up and when you press the "connect" button, you will hear "FSFlyingSchool connecting...".
At this point, click on any part of your plane in FSX and be sure to press "P" if need be to take FSX out of "paused" mode.
At that point you are ready to go flying with your instructor.
You may wish to reshape your FSX screen at that time if desired.
The good news is that, once the user has become a little familiar with FSFS, a typical session does not involve a lot of moving back and forth between the two programs and so the problem is minimized.
For example, so long as the pilot does not change the aircraft being flown and simply lands and then takes off again to fly elsewhere, several flights can be flown without any need to return to the FSFS program.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry but I'm grounded. Updated my graphics drivers and my whole FSX is wrecked! Long process of uninstall reinstall ahead...
All my settings etc. AMD Grrr.
I'll try again after this ordeal is over.
