Hi
Until now have had no problems connecting to FSX. FSX is Running, I'm In Cockpit, Fsuipc V4.92 installed but cannot connect to fsx. Error message says FSX not found. On Flying School settings page all settings are listed as N/A.
Have attached png of settings page.
Have reinstalled FSFS v6.4.3 (registered version) and reloaded airfields etc from FSX scenery folder but still cannot connect to FSX. Please advise as how I can fix this problem.
Thank you
Martin Taylor

Hi Martin:
Let's try this...
1. Make sure FSUIPC appears on the Addons menu of FSX when you are in a plane. If not, it is not installed correctly - please try reinstalling.
2. Make sure you are always in a plane in FSX before you even start the FSFS program from Windows.
3. Make sure that the same user installed FSX and FSUIPC and FSFS.
4. Make sure FSFS is being "run as an administrator" even you are one. Either right click and pick run as admin when you run it, or make the change permanent by changing the properties of the shortcut from which you launch it.
Please let me know how you get on.

Thanks Squadron Leader, all working again. It was the FSFS shortcut on installed update not running as Administrator that was causing all the problems.
I have bought and installed the new A2A Cessna 172 - it is brilliant! How much will FSFS recognize the operation and flying of it? The checklists are very thorough, you have to fly it by the book, otherwise you can get a very poorly aircraft in a very short time. Will you be bringing out a detail pack for this A2A Cessna 172?
Thanks once again

Hi Martin:
Excellent result!
The latest version of FSFS PRO 2013 for FSX has been modified specifically to support the A2A c172 so you can use it right now with the existing c172 Detail pack which is of course built into FSFS PRO 2013, as are many others.
There are a few wrinkles left for us to iron out and indeed these are discussed at some length here on the forum. We plan to take care of those very soon.
