I setup an flight, with advanced approach. 3 miles from the airport. Then I go to the flight, and when it loads the engines are dead and I always crash.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi:
You need to make sure that the plane is set up as you would like it to be, with the engines running and any other details before you trigger the approach by pressing "connect".

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
The plane is setup ready to go. But when I hit connect, then unpause, the plane falls from the sky due to the engines not running. It only happens with jets. The smaller aircraft, it doesn't happen to those.
I was just curious, if theres a fix to this because I am unable to fly jets with the advanced approach feature because of this. The plane just falls from the sky and crashes.
Thanks

Hi:
If you are using FS2004, we cannot set the speed of the plane so it starts at zero if it was zero when connect was pressed.
So... start with it flying smoothly through the air and then press connect.
This should not be a problem with FSX or P3D, but if it is, do likewise.
There is no difference in the handling of propellers or jets in the program - hundreds of folks are using both.
Please let me know how you get on.

FSX
Weird, hopefully we can figure this out.
But now i have a bigger issue, stated in another thread. So I have to figure that out, before I can even play it.
