I really like FSFliyingschool. Especially the logbook and the instant approach. There's one annoying problem though. Every time I end a flight (cleanly, normally, airplane completely stopped) when I go back into FSflyingschool, it says that there was an unexpected disconnect. So to get the feedback, I have to go to the full logbook and scroll all the way down. The logbook shows clearly that everything was captured fully and the flight terminated normally, but somehow the program appears to get confused about this.

Even more annoying is that when I want to connect again, I then get "No flights completed since last connection was made". The only way to start another flight (either via instant approach or "normal") - is to exit FSflyingschool and restart it again.

So basically every run is good for exactly one flight and then I must shut it down and start it again.

I see nothing like this behavior in the forums. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi - thanks for your kind words about FSFS!

OK - whenever FSFS disconnects, it does so quite deliberately, on purpose, for a good reason (as far as it is concerned!)

And... when it does, it shows the reason on the Log Book screen of FSFS - not in the log book itself, but it is at the screen.

Can you please tell me what it says on the screen when this disconnection occurs? I need all the data shown there.

It can be because the time or date has leapt to a new one, or the aircraft was changed, or the location radically changed, etc...
