Hi:
FSFS PRO 2013 has several 'packs' built into it.
In previous versions of FSFS these were separate optional products, purchased separately, and to activate them the user was required to enter their registration codes.
This is not necessary with FSFS PRO 2013 as they are already active. Indeed, if their codes are entered, they will be rejected as they are not add-ons for FSFS PRO 2013.
All the information you need to use them is included, in detail, in their manuals which are installed on your PC when FSFS PRO 2013 is installed on your PC.
You will find the manuals in the folder into which you installed our product AND on the Start Menu under the name of the main product.

Sorry to hijack. I thought that Voice Command was still a separate product?

Hi:
Thanks for your interest!
Voice Command Pack is built into FSFS PRO 2013. But...
... just a few days ago we released the 'Voice Command Pack DELUXE' which is an optional add-on for FSFS PRO 2013 (for FSX or for P3D - the same product works with both).
The details for Voice Command Pack DELUXE are here...
http://www.fsflyingschool.com/Voice-Command-Pack-DELUXE-Features.asp
I hope this helps!

Thanks for clearing that up.
"Nearest airport" is a feature that I was thinking about requesting actually so it was nice to see it in that list.
I'm bad at finding my way under VFR. I mentioned A2A's Spitfire in the other thread. One of the reasons I don't use it very often is that I can never find the airport. So, the idea of going for a fly and then requesting a nearby airport sounds great
Pushing my luck, is it possible to set a "home" airport (or just any specific airport) and get directed back to it?
Thanks again.
(I assume there's no reason why their Spitfire won't work as a generic plane within FSFlyingSchool?)

Hi:
You can certainly use the Spitfire - and any powered airplane - in FSFS PRO 2013.
As to the airport - you can do this by loading a flight plan which takes you to the airport you want - even if it is the one you started from.
I cannot overstress the improvement of the whole experience in FSFS if you are flying with a flight plan. The instructor knows SO much more about what you are doing.
And remember that you can just create and/or load one into FSX and then when you press CONNECT in FSFS it can (as an option - see manual) automatically read the plan in FSX into FSFS - no need to find it as a file in a folder at the flight plan screen of FSFS.
With a plan loaded, the instructor knows the destination and so you can say "Where's the airport?" and the instructor will tell you no matter how far away you are.

Thanks for the reply. I've bought FsFlyingSchool recently and have flown a few flights from Shoreham to Farnborough in the C152ii.
I've been using the "Read FSX Flight Plan" button but it works great, thank you.
I do like the idea of a "Sunday drive" where you can just take off and see where you end up, which sounds like it could work with the Command Pack Deluxe. If my VFR skills were any good then I could do it myself, but I'll blame my PC not being good enough to allow for ORBX England scenery to populate dense enough.....
Regarding the Spitfire, I was looking at fsr files and aircraft.cfg files. The Spitfire speeds are expressed in mph rather than kts, as presumably are those for the Microsoft version of the Cub J3. Does the mph/kts difference matter to FlyingSchool or will it work things out?
I ask partly because FlyingSchool read numbers from the Spitfire's cfg file, and these are apparently in mph. Perhaps they're in kts in the cfg and mph in the manual. Is that likely?
Getting back on topic for the thread is the (location specific) demo of Voice Command Pack Deluxe built into FSFS Pro 2013?

I tried loading up A2A's Spitfire, then setting up an Instant Approach.
It worked really well. One of the tricky bits with their Spitfire is getting it in the air without overheating. Well this works for that as well as setting up landings.
2 issues I found were that the engine isn't running (and so gets started by the air pressure as the plane flies, no problem) and that the gear is still down. Their Spitfire has a manual pump to raise the landing gear so I had to raise this when I was given control of the plane by pressing "G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G", "Ctrl+G"
After that I could fly around and/or land as I needed. With a kid in the 'back' pressing buttons.
I'll try it with something more modern now, but I like how it gets the Spit in the air.
I notice the relish with which "MissAviatrix" declares "I rate your approach at zero percent", percent said with a big smile.
