This was taken from another email I wrote to a user... The good news is that it is running all over the world with Vista and with XP. We readily supply our detailed custom help to all users interested in FSFlyingSchool via email and via our forum. http://www.fsflyingschool.com/forum To run FS2004 and FSFlyingSchool we recommend the following steps: If you are using FS9 (FS2004) then FSFlyingSchool will have installed FSUIPC version 3.xxx for you at that time, unless you already had it, in which case, we're set. Please follow these steps: 1. Turn your PC on - this gives us a known starting point. Do not load any other programs. 2. Launch FS2004. 3. Start a flight and then go to the Modules menu within it and make sure that FSUIPC appears on that menu. If it does then it is configured correctly. If it is not, please download it from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and install it again as FSFlyingSchool requires it to be correctly installed in order to function. 4. Set up a flight in FS2004. You can load a pre-saved flight or just pick a plane and put it on the runway, or at a gate, or taxiing. 5. With FS2004 still running, launch FSFlyingSchool. Make sure that the bottom section of the FSFlyingSchool program shows which version of Flight Simulator it has detected. Make sure it does NOT say "No Flight Simulator Found". 6. Press the Connect button in FSFlyingSchool. You should hear "FSFlyingSchool connecting!" 7. With FSFlyingSchool still running switch back to the FS2004 application which is still running on your PC. 8. Go flying! Note that you only really need to be switched to the FSFlyingSchool application screen when you want to: change preferences read your log book submit scores to the Web analyze your career Obviously, these are not things you do while flying. :-)
