This was taken from another email I wrote to a user...

The good news is that it is running all over the world with Vista and with XP.

We readily supply our detailed custom help to all users interested in FSFlyingSchool via email and via our forum.

To run FSX and FSFlyingSchool we recommend the following steps:

Before even step 1, if FSFlyingSchool is not yet registered, please launch FSFlyingSchool and register it. You do not need to be online and you do not need to run FSX. Then, continue as shown below...

1. Turn your PC on - this gives us a known starting point. Do not load any other programs.

2. Launch FSX.

3. Make sure the latest version of FSUIPC is installed correctly. Simply look for it on the Add-Ons menu in FSX. If it appears there, you're all set. If it is not, please install again as FSFlyingSchool requires it to be correctly installed in order to function.

4. Set up a flight in FSX. You can load a pre-saved flight or just pick a plane and put it on the runway, or at a gate, or taxiiing.

5. With FSX still running, launch FSFlyingSchool. Make sure that the bottom section of the FSFlyingSchool program shows which version of Flight Simulator it has detected. Make sure it does NOT say "No Flight Simulator Found".

6. Press the Connect button in FSFlyingSchool. You should hear "FSFlyingSchool connecting!"

7. With FSFlyingSchool still running switch back to the FSX application which is still running on your PC.

8. Go flying!

Note that you only really need to be switched to the FSFlyingSchool application screen when you want to:
change preferences
read your log book
submit scores to the Web
analyze your career

Obviously, these are not things you do while flying.
