Hi All

I'm looking at purchasing this, but not sure what I can get from it.

I've been using flightsim for over 10yrs and have flown various AC, some well some not so well.

I am a NGX driver, mostly but also 'bush' fly in ORBX country along with RTMM, which is fantastic.

I'm currently learning my first Airbus, with the new Aerosoft Airbus Extended.

So, would this software be good for me?
Also can you use other weather program with it.(OPUS, AS2102, REXe)?

thanks

Clive

Hi Clive:

Thanks for your interest!

There is nothing in what you have mentioned that means that you will not be able to use FSFS PRO 2013, and get a lot from it, but I urge you to try the free demo and read the manuals that come with it before you purchase. That way you will be certain of all issues before you buy.

For a quick overview of the experience - you can also watch the several FSFlyingSchool videos on YouTube, for example:

... and there are many more.

Just downloaded the demo.

Why do you copy MAkeRwys.exe into the FSX folder? You are shipping an old version.

it overwrites the laterst version from Pete Dowsons site.

There is no mention of using other weather programs (AS2012, REXe, OPUS). Does it recognize the injected weather?

When you setup the 'on approach' does flying school set the correct speed etc. Do you have to have engines on, before selecting 'on approach'

Not being negative, just asking!

thanks

Hi Clive:

I see what you mean about makerwys.exe, but sometimes when a 3rd party program changes, the data it outputs changes and this may be a small issue or a big one.

We need the version that we install in order for FSFS or FSIA to work correctly.

We also need to better manage the scenario where a newer version may already exist - we will work on this!

There are so many add-ons for FS and different configurations of FS and Windows etc that we simply make no claims that this or that will work or not work. We always take every opportunity to urge interested folks to try the free demo first and only purchase if the pilot is completely satisfied. We will obviously lose some sales because of this, but we are just trying to be as fair as we can with the resources we have available. So... try the demo with the weather programs and only purchase if you are happy.

FSFS and FSIA will set the speed you have chosen in our software when you are using FSX or P3D, but as described in the manual for technical reasons this cannot be done with FS2004 and steadfast solutions to this issue can be found here on the forum (very simple - with FS2004 you need to be flying, anywhere, at the desired speed, before you press connect).

Yes - have the plane ready for the approach, including the engines running, before "connecting" when using the 'On Approach' feature. There is also an option to have our software automatically tune NAV1 to the ILS signal (if present) if you wish.

As an example of its use... our software is the product of choice in use at the Flight Deck Solutions facility with their JetMax system (see below) and they are having great success with it!

I hope this helps!

[This customer purchased a product that did NOT say Express Processing. It clearly indicated 24 hour processing.]

It says 'Express checkout' get your serial number within minutes.

Well that doesn't work then!

I've sent an email to support, still no reply.

I'm still waiting for my serial number.

Please advise

Hi:

The Express Processing (whereby the code is sent within a minute or so of the purchase) is available on several of our shop's pages.

It is not available on all of them at the moment - whether the code will be sent "express" or within 24 hours is always indicated next to the "Buy Now" button.

[Express Processing is now available on most of our most popular products. Its availability is clearly indicated next to the "Buy Now" button.]
