Is there anyway to get going with FSFlying School Pro and FSX with out shutting down FSX (after setting up a flight plan) going to FSFS to "connect"? When I return to FSX lights are off, etc. Is this a software problem between the two programs. I'm not a "techy" so if possible would like a not too complicated answer (if there is one). Thanks, Bariman

Hi Bariman:

The two programs certainly work very well together but I can see you've experienced a problem.

Possibly the easiest way to run them together is if FSX is running in 'window' mode instead of full screen so that you can get from one to the other a little easier.

This is not required, but I shall explain it here as it may help.

Once you are ready to fly with FSFS - after you are already in your plane in FSX - press ALT ENTER in FSX to toggle FSX into a window instead of full screen. At this point you will be able to see the rest of Windows on your PC and you can just click on the icon to launch FSFS and finally press connect in it and then return to FSX.

You can alternatively move between the two programs by pressing ALT TAB (this is true for any two Windows programs running at the same time).

I hope this helps!

Squadron Leader, thanks for the help. I've been messing with Windows long enough that I should have tried that remedy.
Anyway, that took care of the problem (me)-all is well.
