Hello

I am getting annoying rumbling sounds starting after I choose connect and continue into the actual flight (they are not prop sounds) they will stop when I am close to landing.

These sounds are extemely annoying and if they cannot be eliminated I will have to stop using Instant Approach.

Also I notice that when choosing various ICAO codes there is not always enough room to display full airport description.

Thanks

Larry

Hi Spinker:

Sorry to hear you are experiencing the sound issue.

This is the first such report we have received and as we have delivered a good many copies since the release of the product, this indicates that there is something unique about your system or configuration.

I have some questions:

1. Does this happen on every flight?

2. Is the sound constant from the time you connect until just before landing?

3. How many sound output devices do you have on the PC?

4. What is you FSX sound being output through?

5. Does this happen with a variety of different aircraft (please name them and their publishers)?

6. Does this happen with aircraft that come with FSX?

As to the text of the airports - can you please send a screen shot to
support@FSFlyingSchool.com
so we can take a look at the issue?

Hello Squadron Leader,

Thanks for your reply,

Investigating the problem results:

I have uninstalled and reinstalled your program. Rumbling Sounds are still there. I have shut down all FSX sounds in options/sounds. Rumbling sounds still there.

OK Here is the problem... I have a program by A2A simulations called Accu-Feel which is supposed to enhance all sounds in FSX. When I turn this program off the rumbling sounds in FS instant Approach are gone.

So there is a conflict between both programs.

I don't know if you can fix this, I like both programs.

Hi Larry:

Thanks for all the information - very scientifically researched and presented - just the sort of support feedback data we like to get!

We are looking at this issue - it is most unusual and given that both programs have proven very popular (for example at FSPilotShop.com and PC Aviator) I would think that a good number of folks out there have both of them installed.

We're taking a look and I hope to be able to report back with good news soon.

TO EVERYONE OUT THERE...
If you are using both of these programs together - can you let me know? What is your experience? Rumble or no rumble?
